ABOUT
Our goal at My Travel Friends is to inspire the next generation of children to become “World Changers.”
Through interactive books and apps, complemented by dynamic music, children can engage their unique learning styles while discovering the joy of learning. Our philosophy revolves around the belief that "If you put it to music, it sticks!"
The My Travel Friends book series introduces Duke, an adventurous hound, and his adopted family—Captain and Lettuce Learn—as they embark on journeys across continents, encountering new animal friends along the way. Through their adventures, children not only learn about diverse cultures but also discover simple, everyday actions that contribute to a fulfilling life and a better world.
MEET THE AUTHOR
Laurie Zundel inspires children worldwide through her imaginative stories filled with music, movement and creative visuals. Her life-long passion is to make learning fun and encourage children to discover their unique gifts and strengths, nurturing growth and self-esteem. Her love for children of all cultures and passion for learning and building character are at the heart of each of her creative works.
Laurie is a member of SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) and a recipient of Women in Leadership Education Award. Laurie loves her home in the majestic Pacific Northwest and deeply cherishes her husband, their five daughters and 15 grandkids.
